A mesh network that connects numerous devices extends the control of light and individual LEDs to create innovative harmonious effects, popular in both architectural and urban public spaces.
Small LED lamps often populate restaurant tables, powered by a rechargeable battery. WiDesign revised the basic design with the goal of controlling from a centralized app the brightness or hue characteristics, acting on zones or individual lamps. And from the table, all it takes is a touch to get the waiter’s attention.
On hotel terraces, poolside or beachside, lighting is often limited, especially because of constraints imposed by power supply difficulties. WiDesign designed LED lighting fixtures self-powered by photovoltaic panels controlled by zones or individually from the management app, which activates and sets features at each location. It’s also possible to create gorgeous animations, for instance to accompany the waves crashing ashore.
WiDesign developed systems to create animations, which can be set at will in their chromatic and intensity variations, making the lighting systems more fascinating, and functional to private and public environments. The control can be managed by custom apps or with the help of sensors, the result is to be able to “draw” with light everything you need or want to highlight.
Managing zoned lighting requires establishing clear targets in advance and action on the electrical system. In retrospect, after the electrical system has already been built, it is difficult, or at least costly, to revise the existing lighting system. WiDesign can manage projects that control every aspect of lighting, to create variations or atmospheres in different areas, directly from an app. A great efficient and cost-effective solution.
